With its inherent beauty, only the gentlest of touches are needed to transform this space into the perfect setting for your wedding.

After the formalities conclude, dance the night away in our original ballroom, recently restored to its former glory. Adorned with three exquisite empress crystal chandeliers and showcasing original timber floorboards and leadlight windows, this space exudes timeless beauty and refined craftsmanship.

Our team can assist with sparkler exits and fireworks and can provide delicious suppers or handcrafted roaming desserts so you can design the wedding celebration you desire.

The Ballroom

Imposing in its scale and rich in history, the ballroom sits in harmony with the traditional architecture of the homestead and the beautiful surrounding environment. Added to the main homestead in 1881, it was host to countless family wedding receptions, joyous Christmas parties, and social gatherings during the occupancy by the Governors of Queensland. Today, the Ballroom becomes the backdrop to some of the most memorable moments of your wedding day. Your first dance as a married couple, a special dance with parents or the joyous embrace of friends, celebrating the start of new journeys, every moment finds its perfect place.
