Travis & Hannah

Spring 2018

The love story of Travis and Hannah blossomed ten years ago when Hannah was 16 and Travis, 17. They first met at a house party, and with a few stalks on social media later (as you do), Travis and Hannah were soon officially a couple. Fast forward ten years, now with two children plus add in a Christmas proposal to the mix, Travis and Hannah hosted their beautiful Spring time wedding at Gabbinbar Homestead.

Having already been to a wedding at Gabbinbar Homestead, they certainly had their eye on the wedding venue from the get-go. It was the professionalism of the staff combined with the stellar organisation skills of our wedding planning team that sealed the deal for Travis and Hannah.

The moment which stole the show for Hannah and Travis was just after the ceremony when they both walked through to the grassed area outside the ‘Pavilion’. Greeted by all of their guests with hugs and kisses, they enjoyed a relaxed drink with their guests. Hannah and Travis chose the ‘Pavilion’ for a relaxed cocktail style reception and set the band and dance floor up in the ‘Conservatory’ so guests could dance the night away. Laid-back with touches of luxe was the theme for this Spring time wedding. The stand-up, cocktail style reception gave that laid-back vibe, but the plush furniture and candlelight gave the wedding a luxurious ambience which the couple were after.

Hannah and Travis now happily married have some great advice for newly engaged couples, “write down everything you have envisaged for the day, even what songs you want for the ceremony whilst signing the registry and a song for cutting the cake so you're not quickly deciding last minute. Once you have it all written down, pass it onto the amazing wedding planning team at Gabbinbar Homestead and they will take care of the rest!”
