A welcome newcomer, 'Norwood Roses' is boutique Airbnb that is in a class of its own. This historic cottage, built in 1895, has been lovingly and faithfully restored and is filled with natural light, art, a carefully curated selection of antiques and offers an award-winning cottage garden.

Enjoy a soak in the clawfoot bathtub and then fall asleep in the antique wrought-iron beds with 1000 thread-count sheets and feather and duck-down pillows. Best of all this delightful Airbnb has all the modern touches including high-speed internet, Netflix and reverse cycle air conditioning - you'll want to bunker down for good. You're also in the heart of everything Toowoomba has on offer as this bespoke cottage is in easy walking distance from the city centre and all the restaurants, cafe's, pubs and cocktail bars we recommend.

Review: 'Caitlyn's cottage was an absolute dream! The garden was extraordinary, and it was so lovely to start our day there with a cup of coffee, very peaceful! The house itself is so beautifully decorated, I found myself just walking around looking at all of the gorgeous things. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of recommendations for locals places to visit, and we had delicious fresh bread, cheeses and a beautiful bunch of roses waiting for us when we arrived. Located in the leafy suburb of East Toowoomba, 'Magnolia on Mary' exudes charm and character. Newly renovated, this spacious home features crisp white walls which partner beautifully with high ceilings, wooden floors and feature tiling throughout.

Situated next to one another these contemporary residences, a restored shop and modern terrace house, bring an urban cottage vibe to the historic Mort Estate precinct. Review: We really enjoyed our short stay in the Bluestone Cottages "The Shop". Fleur has thought of everything. So many lovely touches. Sparkling clean. Very comfortable lounge area and beds were fabulous with quality linen. Spaces were beautifully styled. Lovely front verandah for coffee in the morning sunshine and a wine in the evening. The cottage on Geddes

Elegant & Spacious Art Deco Home in East Toowoomba

With three separate living spaces to retreat to, this spacious and well-appointed home opposite the Queens Park Botanical Gardens is ideally located for enjoying the sights of Toowoomba. If staying over a weekend, make sure to pop down to the local farmers market on a Saturday morning for fresh coffee and some delicious Darling Downs produce.

'The Cubby', as it is known, is also an entertainer's delight with an indoor/outdoor room that opens and flows off the modern kitchen into the leafy backyard creating one expansive, inviting space. High-ceilings and light-filled nooks to relax in are found throughout the home, while the main bedroom offers ample storage. Fresh, vibrant pops of colour in the styling choices contrast nicely with the white walls and wooden floors, and for the cooler Toowoomba evenings, the gas fireplace is conveniently located in the main living area.

The Wickie Houses - Homes with Adjoining Gardens

Two properties with adjoining gardens 'The Wickie Houses' are ideal for large family gatherings or those visiting Toowoomba as a group. Sleeping up to 12 guests the newly renovated properties are in walking distance to the 'James Street Grocer' and 'Wendland's Cafe' where you can source your morning provisions (think delicious pastries, breads and deli goods) and coffee. The larger of the two properties 'The Keeper's House' offers spacious living with northern-facing accent bay windows to capitalise on the morning sun. The smaller cottage, 'The Lighthouse', with its fully equipped kitchen and adjoining fireplace, provides a more intimate setting.
