SUMMER — DECEMBER | 144 GUESTS | THE GOVERNOR’S LAWN
Beneath the broad reach of the cedar, colour gathered around them: loose garden florals in coral, pink, apricot, blue and soft yellow, arranged as though they had grown there of their own accord. Silk ribbons trailed from the bride’s bouquet, echoing the sheer sleeves and lace-edged veil of her gown. Afterwards, the gardens became their backdrop, from quiet portraits beside the Homestead to laughter caught between the hedges. As evening settled, tables waited beneath strings of lights on the lawn, before the night ended in a blaze of sparklers along the gravel drive. A celebration shaped by contrast: heritage and colour, softness and exuberance, stillness and movement.
