Michael + Leeanda

LOVE IN FULL BLOOM | 93 GUESTS | THEJACARANDA LAWN

There are weddings built around moments, and then there are weddings built around feeling. Under the canopy of a sprawling heritage tree, the ceremony unfolded along a grass aisle flanked by loose, ground-laid florals — blowsy pink hydrangeas tumbling into clusters of white delphinium and cream garden roses, their petals spilling onto the lawn as though the garden itself had joined in. Leeanda carried a lush, unapologetically bold bouquet of coral peonies against the clean lines of her strapless gown and lace-edged veil, while Michael adjusted his bow tie in the quiet of The Library, his smile already giving him away. The conservatory reception brought Georgian windows, white silk tablecloths, wicker pedestals draped in gauze, and a ruffled two-tiered cake adorned with cascading sugar sweet peas. As evening fell and fairy lights illuminated the old fig tree, the two of them stood beneath it — unhurried, champagne in hand, entirely at home in the night they had made together.
