BLUE HYDRANGEAS BENEATH THE FIG TREE | 73 GUESTS | THE GOVERNOR’S LAWN

Beneath the great branches of the Governor’s Lawn, guests gathered in quiet anticipation as a path of scattered white petals traced its way through rows of timber chairs. Soft arrangements of pale blue hydrangeas and ivory roses rested gently on the grass, their colours echoing the powder-blue gowns of the bridesmaids who carefully lifted the bride’s veil before the ceremony began. Inside the homestead, mirrors framed moments of stillness – a bride in silk reflected in morning light, a groom waiting thoughtfully besides the fireplace. Rings and cufflinks rested atop a vintage equestrian print, small heirlooms of the day. By evening, beneath strings of light and the glow of chandeliers, their celebration unfolded in laughter, music, and the quiet certainty of two lives joined.
