5 wedding favour ideas we know your guests will love

Wedding favours we know your guests will love

There’s no doubt the ‘organise wedding favours’ has been sitting on your wedding to-do list for quite some time. Here at Gabbinbar Homestead we see several couples struggle to think of a wedding favour idea that is not only is cost-effective but also relatively easy to organise, particularly if you have a large guest list. Don’t worry, our wedding planning team has you sorted, here are our five favourite wedding favour idea’s we know your guests will love.

1. YOUR FAVOURITE SCENTED CANDLE

There is nothing more personal than a scented candle for your wedding guests to take home. Write a little note explaining why you love this scent and why it’s special to you as a couple. That way every time your loved one burns this candle at home they will think of your special day.

2. BABY SUCCULENTS IN POTS

Such a beautiful keepsake, the succulent trend will never fade. Don’t worry if your guests don’t have a green thumb, succulents are easy to look after as they are relatively low maintenance. Your guests can find a special spot for the succulent in their home, a daily reminder of how much fun they had at your wedding.

3. HONEYPOTS – LOVE IS SWEET

Who doesn’t like a love pun, yes, we are talking about little honey pots dressed in ‘love is sweet’ gift tags. Plus, the little honey pots look fabulous lined up down the middle of the table and are a perfect addition to your wedding styling.

4. A PACKET OF SEEDS – LET LOVE GROW

We are continuing with the pun train – let love grow with a packet of seeds for your wedding guests. This could be a packet of vegetable seeds or maybe some blooming flower seeds are more your style. This will be the gift that keeps on giving.

5. CHARITY DONATION TO YOUR SELECTED ORGANISATION

This is a wedding favour idea which is always a hit amongst guests. As a wedding favour idea, we’ve seen couples provide their guests with a $2 charity donation to an organisation which the couple hold close to their heart’s.

Remember if you need help organising wedding favours for your guests, the wedding planning team at Gabbinbar Homestead are here to help. We can assist with suggesting ideas and recommend local suppliers who will bring your vision to life.
